KUALA TERENGGANU, 27 April 2024 – Minister of Defence, YB Khaled Nordin, conducted a working visit and Aidilfitri ceremony with the personnel of the 18th Royal Malay Regiment (RAMD) Battalion (Para) at Kem Sri Pantai.

During the visit, he inspected two Armed Forces Family Housing (RKAT) houses at Kem Sri Pantai to personally assess the condition and environment of the homes occupied by Army personnel.

After the inspection, he mingled with the residents of Kem Sri Pantai and officiated the presentation of the RKAT Maintenance Allocation and Accommodation Block for the 18th Royal Malay Regiment (RAMD) Battalion (Para) for the year 2024, worth RM 1,320,000.00.

Additionally, the ceremony included the disbursement of the MADANI Education Contribution by the Armed Forces Fund Board Foundation (YLTAT), which provided RM 50 to 10 Year 1 MAF children for the year 2024.

This was followed by the presentation of welfare assistance, including a one-off donation of RM 300.00 by YLTAT to 14 recipients who are members or relatives suffering from chronic diseases.
