GENTING HIGHLANDS, 29 April 2025 – The 21st Track II Network of ASEAN Defence and Security Institutions (NADI) Annual General Meeting continued with two key sessions focusing on ASEAN’s strategic efforts to maintain regional unity and resilience.
Session II featured presentations on “The Strategic Role of ADMM in Addressing the Complex and Diverse Challenges Facing ASEAN Unity”, with contributions from Brunei (SHHBIDSS), Cambodia (GDPFA), Indonesia (CSSRD, TNI), Lao PDR (MSHD), Malaysia (MiDAS), the Philippines (NDCP) and Thailand (SSC).
Session III discussed “Harnessing Emerging Technologies to Strengthen ASEAN Unity: A Strategic Perspective from ADMM”, presented by Indonesia (RIDU), Malaysia (NDUM), Myanmar (OCAFT), the Philippines (OSSSM), Singapore (RSIS) and Vietnam (IDS).
These sessions facilitated valuable exchanges of strategic insights on regional security challenges and explored how emerging technologies could further enhance ASEAN’s unity and stability.
