KUALA LUMPUR, 25 April 2024 – Secretary General Ybhg. Datuk Seri Isham Ishak attended the Ministry of Defence Secretary General Engagement Session with Defence Industry Players at the Flamingo Hotel Grand Ballroom, Ampang.

Organized by the Defence Industry Division, the session attracted 214 representatives from 156 defence industry companies.

This session served as a platform for the Secretary General to convey the government's policies and strategic direction, particularly the Ministry of Defence's objectives, to industry players to further stimulate the development of the defence industry.

In addition, the Secretary General announced the establishment of the Coalition of Defence Industry Malaysia (CDIM), aimed at empowering the local defence industry through collaboration and cooperation among local companies and stakeholders.
