KUALA LUMPUR, 6 May 2024 – Minister of Defence, YB Khaled Nordin, delivered his keynote address and officiated the Putrajaya Forum 2024, themed "Non-Traditional Threats and Emerging Technologies," at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur.

The Putrajaya Forum 2024 serves as a global conference platform aimed at convening policymakers, think tanks, and local and international defence and security industry players. The forum was attended by approximately 300 participants who strived to cultivate the spirit of togetherness and inclusivity in building a more peaceful and competitive future for the collective benefit of humanity.

Among the panel involved for the forum includes Minister of Defence of Zimbabwe, Oppah Chamu Zvipange Munchiguri Kashir, Deputy Minister of Defence of Turkiye, Dr. Celal Sami TÜFEKÇİ, Chief of Defence Force Malaysia, General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohammad bin Ab Rahman,Chief of the National Guard Bureau of the United States, General Daniel R. Hokanson, Senior Lecturer of the Law Faculty of Universiti Malaya, Dr. Su Wai Mon, together with Professor Hajah Ruhanas binti Harun and Professor K.S. Natha as the moderators.
