PEDULI VETERAN PROGRAMME IN SABAH

SABAH, 16 June 2024 – To ensure that the welfare agenda for veterans and their dependents remains a top priority, the Deputy Minister of Defence, YB Adly Zahari, conducted the Peduli Veteran MADANI (PVM) programme in the Sandakan, Sabah region, in collaboration with the Ex-Servicemen Affairs Corporation (PERHEBAT).

During the visit, YB Adly Zahari met with 9 MAF veterans, including a widow and heirs, to convey information and provide donations in the form of Rahmah Boxes and medical supplies. 

In addition, YB Adly Zahari conducted entrepreneurial visits to 5 MAF veteran entrepreneurs. These visits were designed to provide support, offer incentives, and promote their products and services.

The Peduli Veteran MADANI (PVM) initiative is part of the Ministry of Defence’s efforts to enhance the well-being of MAF veterans. It aligns with the 7th Pillar of the MINDEF Strategic Plan, which focuses on improving the management of welfare assistance.
