GERMANY, 19 February 2024 – Minister of Defence, YB Khaled Nordin, undertook an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany from the 15th to the 18th of February 2024.
During this visit, the Minister of Defence, accompanied by delegations from the Ministry, participated in the prestigious Munich Security Conference (MSC). This conference stands as the premier security forum, convening Ministers of Defence, Chiefs of the Armed Forces, and Government Leaders from both European nations and across the globe.
Furthermore, the itinerary included bilateral meetings with counterparts of significance, notably H.E. Boris Pistorius, Federal Minister of Defence of Germany, H.E. Dr. Ng Eng Hen, Minister of Defence of Singapore, and H.E. Bill Blair, Minister of Defence of Canada.
In addition to diplomatic engagements, the Minister of Defence and accompanying delegations seized the opportunity to visit the headquarters of Brainlab AG and engaged in discussions with representatives from Rheinmetall company. These engagements were aimed at exploring cutting-edge innovations and technologies in the realms of defence and medicine.
