JOHOR BAHRU, 17 March 2024 – Minister of Defence, YB Khaled Nordin, presided over an iftar ceremony at the RMN Johor Bahru Base, commemorating 500 members of the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN).
YB Minister of Defence warmly greeted the attending RMN members and proceeded to oversee the distribution of welfare donations by the Armed Forces Fund Board Foundation (YLTAT) to 20 RMN personnel.
Subsequently, he presented a symbolic check representing the Armed Forces Family Home (RKAT) Maintenance Allocation for the year 2024, totaling RM69.5 million, to the Chief of Navy. This gesture underscores the Ministry of Defence's unwavering commitment in safeguarding the welfare and well-being of RMN personnel.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Defence, YB Adly bin Zahari, the Chief of Navy, and RMN Johor Bahru base personnel.
