JOHOR, 30 March 2024 - Minister of Defence, YB Khaled Nordin, attended the Breaking Fast Ceremony with 600 Malaysian Army personnel at the Army Combat Training Centre (PULADA), Ulu Tiram.
During the ceremony, YB Minister of Defence presented a Mock Check for the Total Allocation for the Maintenance of Armed Forces Family Housing (RKAT) for the year 2024, amounting to RM199.5 million, to the Chief of the Army. This was followed by the Maintenance Allocation for the Year 2024 to the Commandant of PULADA, totaling RM1,055,413 million, and to the Commander of 7 Brigade, amounting to RM1,870,870 million.
Additionally, YB Minister of Defence conducted a session to deliver welfare donations to 30 personnel of the 7th Brigade and PULADA, which included members and their relatives with chronic diseases. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with the LTAT-YLTAT Foundation.
Earlier in the day, YB Minister of Defence received a briefing regarding the residents residing in the RKAT Desa PULADA, as well as the maintenance and repair work carried out on the RKAT buildings. A survey of the RKAT block was also conducted to assess the situation.
Furthermore, YB Minister of Defence greeted two members of the RKAT, namely Staff Sergeant Iwot bin Gungkil, Head of the Cawangan Serigala Detachment of PULADA, and Corporal Morrison, son of Ferlix, Medical Assistant at the Army Medical Centre (PPAT) PULADA.
