KUALA LUMPUR, 22 February 2024 – The High Commissioner of India, in collaboration with the Defence Industry Division, hosted the India-Malaysia Mini Defence Expo Cum Defence Industry Symposium.
This symposium witnessed the active participation of officers from both nations alongside representatives from the defence industry. A total of 18 local companies and 16 companies from India contributed to the event.
The programme aimed to foster cooperation and collaboration between Indian and Malaysian defence industry players, facilitating the exchange of expertise, knowledge, and experiences. Such interactions pave the way for mutually beneficial partnerships and advancements in defence technologies.
Furthermore, the event served as a platform to strengthen the strategic network and bilateral industrial relations between key stakeholders and professionals within the Malaysian and Indian defence industries.
The programme was also attended by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, Datuk Seri Isham Ishak and High Commissioner of India in Malaysia, Mr. BN Reddy.
