GEMPUR IX 2.0 EXERCISE

GEMAS, 16 February 2024 – The GEMPUR IX 2.0 Exercise (EGIX 2.0) and Latihan Peningkatan Tempur (LPT), with the concept of ‘Specific Operation’, aims to comprehensively evaluate all levels involved. This includes the planning capabilities of the Battalion Headquarters staff and the execution abilities of the combat companies. The evaluation took within the Combined Arms Manoeuvring Area (CARMA) located at Syed Sirajuddin Camp, Gemas. 

The exercise consists of four phases: Preparation Phase, Pre-Deployment Training (PDT)/Battle Procedure Phase, Implementation Phase/Field Training Exercise (FTX), and After Action Review (AAR).  These phases focus on the roles and movements of Rapid Deployment Force (RDF) – Specific Operation (Raid) elements during a raid operation.
