JOHOR, 9 January 2024 – Deputy Prime Minister, YAB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, conducted a visit to the flood disaster area and the Temporary Relief Centre (PPS) in the Kota Tinggi district.
During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the tents of flood victims whose homes were flooded and had no place to take shelter. He followed up by handing over basic food kits to the flood victims.
Simultaneously, he witnessed the handover of the Portable Water Filtration System from the FASC President and Group of Chief Executive Officers to the Chief Commissioner of Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA).
Present during the event was the Minister of Defence, YB Dato' Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, and the Chief Minister of Johor, YAB Dato' Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi.
