SABAH, 26 January 2024 - The Deputy Minister of Defence, YB Adly Zahari, conducted a readiness review of the Sabah Eastern Fleet Command, involving the Offshore Station (SLP) of Gugusan Semarang Peninjau Stesen LIMA, Kota Kinabalu TLDM Base (PTKK).
He visited several Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) operational centres in Kota Kinabalu, including SLP Station LIMA RM and Air Station Kota Kinabalu (SUKK), which involve the acquisition of radar and improvements to the aerodrome and infrastructure in Layang-Layang Island.
This visit also included inspections of the Littoral Mission Ship (LMS) and the Submarine Training Simulation Centre, as well as the construction of the TLDM RKAT being implemented in Sepanggar.
At the same time, he interacted with the TDLM personnel there, ensuring that their welfare is preserved.
