KUALA LUMPUR, 3 April 2023 - Minister of Defence Malaysia, YB Khaled Nordin, recently participated in the Ministry of Defence Breaking Fast ceremony alongside local media practitioners, extending gratitude to those who have steadfastly supported the Ministry of Defence.
During the event, YB Minister of Defense, through the Armed Forces Fund Board Foundation (YLTAT), unveiled an initiative aimed at assisting MAF personnel and children. This initiative includes a donation of RM300,000 to the Disabled MAF Personnel Children Welfare Assistance, benefiting school students as well as those enrolled in public and private universities.
Additionally, a generous Aidilfitri donation of RM22,500 was allocated to students of Sekolah Tahfiz dan Asrama Anak Yatim Angkatan Tentera Malaysia, in collaboration with Pharmaniaga Berhad.
Furthermore, Pharmaniaga Berhad and Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Boustead Holdings Berhad and a member of the LTAT Group, announced an Industrial Training platform under the Pharmagrad and BHPetrol Protégé Programme.Â
This initiative offers an eight-month program for Pharmagrad participants and a one-year program for BHPetrol Protégé participants. These programs aim to equip selected graduates with enhanced knowledge and skills in their respective fields, thereby enhancing their marketability and employability.
