KUALA LUMPUR, 16 April 2024 – The One Member One House (SASaR) project, initiated by the Ministry of Defence, aims to ensure that every MAF personnel can own their own house.
Today, Minister of Defence, YB Khaled Nordin, visited the SASaR Sungai Besi site to assess its progress.
The SASaR Sungai Besi project's development is progressing well, with construction currently at approximately 65.51% completion as of the 12th of April 2024. Impressively, it is 21 days ahead of schedule, with an expected completion date in 2025.
Spanning an area of 11.95 acres, this housing project offers 3,500 flat units.
Additionally, similar housing projects are being developed in two other locations, SASaR Setapak, with a total of 6,400 apartment units, and SASaR Wardieburn, providing 974 apartment units.
The SASaR Project Team plans to continue promoting the project to officers, members of other ranks, veterans, and MinDef civilians through road tours from May to December 2024 at Formation Headquarters and local teams nationwide.
