LANGKAWI, 23 Mei 2023 - The Aerospace Segment for the 2023 Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA 2023) officially commenced today with a Gracing Ceremony and an air show featuring assets from the Malaysian Armed Forces at Mahsuri International Exhibition Centre (MIEC).

Minister of Defence, Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Hasan officiated the event, which also involved the Minister of Transport, YB Anthony Loke Siew Fook, Menteri Besar of Kedah, YAB Dato’ Seri Haji Muhammad Sanusi bin Md Nor.

The opening gimmick commenced with the arrival of VIPs, followed by a captivating performance from the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) drumline.

The gimmick for this year’s LIMA 2023 is comprised of thirty-six (36) air assets from the Royal Malaysian Air Force, Malaysian Army and Air Force Special Forces (PASKAU).

Also present at the event was the Secretary General, YBhg. Dato’ Sri Muez Abd Aziz, Chief of Defence Force, General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Hj Affendi Buang RMAF, Chief Services and international delegates.
