Kuala Lumpur, 19 March 2023 – The 2022 Annual Royal Military College (RMC) Parade was officiated by the Chief of Defence Forces, General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Hj. Affendi bin Buang RMAF at the RMC Marching Ground, Sungai Besi Perdana Camp, Kuala Lumpur.
A total of 470 RMC Puteras that consists of 241 Form Five (5) Putera and 229 Form Four (4) Putera were involved in the parade.
The parade was led by Senior Under Officer (SUO) Muhammad Aniq Bahjat bin Nor Hilmi from the Bravo company, which also happened to be the Best Overall Putera and the winner for the Defence Minister Award.
RMC is a secondary education institution that differs from other schools. Based on the implementation of a dynamic syllabus, added with a holistic military module, RMC Puteras are exposed with an ideal and optimum learning environment.
Abiding by the ‘SERVE TO LEAD’ slogan, RMC will continue to play its role in shaping Malaysia’s future leaders that encompasses a variety of fields and sectors. Since its inception, RMC has shaped numerous Puteras that have hold positions in the Malaysian Air Force and Civil Service, as well as branching out to the corporate world.
The winner for the Defence Minister Award, or the Best Overall Putera was Senior Under Officer (SUO) Muhammad Aniq Bahjat bin Nor Hilmi from the Bravo Company. Meanwhile, for the Commandant Award, or the Best Putera in Military was won by Senior Under Officer (SUO) Nasrul Nazwanbin Norazman from the Golf Company.
For the Academic Director Award, or the Academic Excellence Putera, it was awarded to Junior Under Officer (JUO) Muhammad Ammar bin Mohd Zahari from the Foxtrot Company. The next award is the Administrative Award, or the Best Putera in Sports, which was awarded to Sergeant Putera Azim Muzaffar bin Mohd Danir. Last but not least, the Company Commandment Cup Award was awarded to the Hotel Company.
