Japan, 16 March 2023 – Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, Ybhg. Dato’ Sri Muez bin Abd Aziz attended the forum and seminar in Tokyo which was chaired by Mr Masami Oka, Vice-Minister of Defence for International Affairs, Ministry of Defence Japan.

The forum and seminar discussed on the issues and security challenges including the effect of climate change that can potentially destabilize the region, and the roles that can be taken by the military to face the recent challenges.

Additionally, the Secretary General and other Head of Delegations were also brought to visit the Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEI), Japan 2023 convention.

Also present was the Chief of Staff for Malaysian Armed Forces Headquarters (HQ), Ybhg. Lt. Gen Datuk Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad.
