KUALA LUMPUR, 13 March 2023 – The Secretary General, Ybhg. Dato’ Sri Muez bin Abd Aziz launched the new UGAT Data Centre at KEMENTAH.

UGAT Data Centre is an infrastructure that has been moved to a new location, and serves to control and process the Malaysian Armed Forces Salary System (SGATM), which is a system designed for the purpose of MAF emolument payments.

Ybhg. Dato’ Sri Muez bin Abd Aziz was also brought to the building that houses the UGAT Data Centre to officiate the launching ceremony and the symbolic new UGAT Data Centre plaque signing. He was also brought to visit the interior space of the UGAT Data Centre while further explaining the roles and functions of the UGAT Data Centre.

Also present was the Deputy Secretary General (Management), Ybhg Dr Mohd Bukhari bin Ismail, Chief of Staff for Malaysian Armed Forces Headquarters (HQ), Ybhg. Lt. Gen Datuk Arman Rumaizi bin Hj Ahmad and Deputy Chief of Staff Service Officer, Ybhg Maj Gen Mohamed Fauzi bin Kamis.
