JOHOR, 10 March 2023 – MAF through the Malaysian Army continued the Op Murni-Post-Flood operations by assisting other agencies in carrying out communal work in areas that are recuperating from the disaster.

The post-flood aid includes cleaning-up houses that were flooded and garbage in areas where the floods have subsided. Additionally, clean-up at mosques were also done to ensure the local community can use clean and hygienic facilities at the mosques.

Apart from that, joint assistance from the Public Authority (PBA) in the form of administration, food supply distribution and essential items were also continued.

Also ongoing is the Mobile Medical Team (MMT) in a few Temporary Transfer Centres (PPS) whose main objective is to provide free health services in ensuring the flood victims’ health and well-being.
