Kuala Lumpur, 19 February 2023 – The Ministry of Defence’s PUSPANITA participated in the Annual Puspanita Sports Carnival 2023 from February 17 – 19 at Sports Arena UNITEN in events such as netball, handball, futsal and track and field.

The PUSPANITA MinDef contingent was led by Ybhg. Datuk Shahrazat binti Hj. Ahmad, Deputy Secretary General (Development) cum Deputy Chairman 1 of PUSPANITA MinDef. The carnival’s closing ceremony was officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Wan Azizah binti Wan Ismail, PUSPANITA Patron.

PUSPANITA MinDef was awarded as the overall champion for the PUSPANITA Patron Track and Field event.

PUSPANITA MinDef also managed to win 5 gold medals and 3 silver medals for track and field events such as 100m, 400m, 4x100m, 4x400m, shot put and long jump.

Secretary General of the Malaysian Ministry of Defence, Ybhg. Dato’ Seri Muez bin Abd Aziz and his wife, Ybhg. Datin Sri Rafidah binti Latif, PUSPANITA Chairman, also spent the evening with the participants and gave their support to the PUSPANITA MinDef contingent.
