GEMAS, June 20, 2022 – The Chief of the Malaysian Army (PTD), General Tan Sri Dato' Seri Zamrose bin Mohd Zain, had the opportunity to visit the Army Integrated Farm at Syed Sirajuddin Camp today.
The Army Integrated Farm through the Army Food Sustainability Programme is an effort by the Top Management of the Malaysian Army (TDM) to help reduce the cost of living for personnel through agricultural produce.
At the same time, the Army Integrated Farm, which is the idea of the Malaysian Army Chief, is also intended to serve as a first step in resolving any potential future food crises.
Therefore, a comprehensive long-term action plan will be developed to address these issues in order to ensure that food sustainability, especially in TDM as well as the country, is always guaranteed.
Such effort is aligned with the initiative that supports the Third Pillar of the 28th Chief of Army Superior Order, namely "Preservation of Personnel Welfare," which focuses on the aspects of economic, social and food security.
