Subang, May 27, 2020 - No. 20 Squadron has launched a courtesy flight today to bring babies with severe coarctation of aorta and possible cornelia de lange syndrome that require urgent treatment at the National Heart Institute (IJN).

The baby to Mrs Azlinawati was flown from Sultan Mahmud Airport, Kuala Terengganu to Subang Airport by using Charlie 130 Hercules (C-130H) aircraft from No. 20 Squadron.

The flight involved eight crew members including the pilot, pilot assistants, flight engineer and air quartermaster departing from Sultan Mahmud Airport, Kuala Terengganu at 12.00pm and arriving safely at Subang Air Base at 12.50pm. The baby was accompanied by her mother, a doctor and a nurse.
