Kuala Lumpur 8 Feb 2010 – Defence Minister, YB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi receives a visit from the Reserve Officers Training Unit delegation of public institutions of higher education to the ministry.

This delegation comprises the Commandant, Deputy Commandant, Chief Instructor and instructors from ROTU units all over Malaysia.

Earlier, Prof Dr Aziz Deraman was bestowed the rank of Captain (Honorary) of the Royal Malaysian Navy Volunteer Reserve Force. MAF football players also signed an agreement to join the Territorial Army and witnessed by the Defence Minister himself.

Also present were Ministry of Defence military and civilian senior officers.
