Kuala Lumpur 4 Feb 2010 – Defence Minister, YB Dato' Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid bin Hamidi officiated the Ministry of Defence Toll Free Complaint Hotline 1-800-222-700 during the parade at Kementah Camp Parade Square.

In conjunction with the gathering, the Defence Minister presented the MAF Excellence Service Award Serial 2/2009 and the United Nations Medal to a civilian from Ministry of Defence who served together with the Armed Forces during Malcon 1 to 4 which is part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

In addition, ISO certificates were presented to the respective departments under the Ministry of Defence as well as the Quality Environment (5S) certificate from MPC to MAF Veteran Affairs Department and National Service Training Department.

Present were Deputy Defence Minister, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Defence senior military and civilian officers.
